Undersigil (sometimes styled "UnderSigil"), also known as the Realms Below isn't formally one of Sigil's Wards, but is nonetheless an important region to consider, with a number of its own distinct locations.
Undersigil is the name collectively given to a series of passages, sewers, and catacombs carved or built under the streets of Sigil.
Location[]
Undersigil was located "in" several other wards, simply beneath the surface of the streets. Each ward had access to it, although it should be noted that not all parts of Undersigil were continuous. One noble family's burial chambers in the Lady's Ward, for example, may not have any connection to any other part of Undersigil, similarly to how a prime world's dungeons, sewer systems, and drow passages aren't all connected to one another.
Some say that the entire torus of Sigil is a dabus warren. The city we see on the surface is just what the city shows to travelers, but the real city is the mass of tunnels, storehouses, dungeons, and corridors beneath the surface. [1]

Background Information[]
- Sigil has taken two forms over the years: being built on the inner ring of a thick stone "donut," and being built on the inner surface of a tire. The former has ample space for Undersigil; the volume of Undersigil is far greater than the surface area of the city. The latter, however, has only a thin surface on which the city is built; any passages underground (basements, sewers, catacombs, etc) are actually passages to another reality, with new excavations being expensive and rare. In this setup, "Undersigil" is less its own area of the city and more a series of pocket dimensions, similar to the Lady's Mazes.[8]
