The Ochlocrats were a chaos-aligned faction in Sigil's history. Given the propensity for chaos-aligned factions to avoid keeping records of any kind, it's uncertain if they were a previous incarnation of the Xaositects operating under a different name, or if they were truly an unrelated organization.

- The name "Ochlocrats" comes from the Greek ὄχλος (ochlos, crowd). An ochlocracy is otherwise known as "mob rule."
