Isis was an Intermediate Power of the Pharaonic pantheon, the child of Geb and Nut and a member of Ra's Ennead family.[1] She was said to have knowledge of everything between heaven and earth, including Ra's true name and the mysteries of creation.[2]
Isis had a keen interest in mortals, and granted many gifts to her worshippers including magic and marriage. She ruled the Second Realm of Heliopolis, Gizekhtet, as well as her own private realm Quietude in Elysium. Although Heliopolis was home to her husband and many of her faithful, she preferred Quietude for its peaceful community and research opportunities.[2]
