- Tylaric Stormwing takes a wrong turn and ends up in the Abyss. When he comes back, he's a screaming barmy.[1]
- Erin Darkflame Montgomery, a member of a decadent group called the Pax Imperica, falls for a half-elf named Cuatha Da'nanin. She frees him from a death in a spectacle of atrocity called the Spit, and the two flee to Sigil.[2]
- The bard Trolan of Ecstasy arrives in Sigil and finds a tavern to perform in. He performs a song of love to the Lady of Pain. The crowd flees and he's kicked out, with the expectation that the Lady would quickly arrive to dispatch him, but she never does. He's quickly branded Trolan the Mad. The Mercykillers were ready to deal with him when the dabus showed up to take him to Harbinger House.[3]
- The Nameless One, going by the name "Thlium," is owed 100 copper by a Cager.[4]
